Description
An international service organization that promotes Service, Leadership, and Fellowship.
Purpose
Circle K International (CKI) is an international service organization, and the world’s largest student-led collegiate service organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the world by helping small communities such as New Paltz, creating service projects based on important issues, and inspiring others to do the same. CKI serves 17 nations worldwide, with over 12,600 members making a difference each day. In New York, nearly 1,000 members are serving in 9 different divisions, across almost 50 college campuses (including SUNY New Paltz). Collectively, CKI members perform more than 1 million hours of service on their campuses and in their communities every year. Through service, college students are making the world a better place.

In the past, our Circle K Club (SUNY New Paltz Circle K) has raised awareness and monetary donations for the ELIMINATE Project, the Special Olympics Organization, March of Dimes, and others, assembled and put together Kiwanis Dolls, no-sew blankets, and no-sew pillows for donation, and organized food and clothing drives. In addition, we have also volunteered at soup kitchens, shelters for domestic violence/runaway teens, retirement homes, town clean ups, and so much more. Come and join us build bonds with each other and with our community!
